The Unreached Himalayas

July 9, 2025 | Field Stories

God opened the doors for Commissioned International to take a medical team into one of the most remote and unreached areas of the world The Himalayas of Nepal. The team flew into Kathmandu, then took a helicopter into the Everest region, where they spent the next few days hiking to higher altitude villages to acclimate to the altitude. After 40 hours of flights, two helicopter rides, two days of hiking, and three nights of acclimation, the team made it to an unreached people group at the highest livable village in the Himalayas. Our God is faithful. He opened the door for us to minister to these people, which had never been done before. Only God. Pray that He continues to give us favor and opens the door for us to go back.
