Mobilize Teams

One week of your life can change theirs for eternity.

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

-Matthew 28:18-20 (ESV)

Teams are a catalyst for ministry and church growth. Each team serves alongside local churches and Commissioned International ministries to help reach villages, strengthen churches, and advance the gospel.

Teams don’t replace the local church—they empower it. They bring encouragement, credibility, and practical support that helps local believers reach their own communities.

Ways to Serve

Surgery

The surgical team ministry is comprised of volunteers that travel to Honduras to provide a variety of surgeries to Hondurans at Hospital Bautista’s Patrick Davis Memorial Surgery Center while also tending to the spiritual needs of the patients and their families.

Medical

Whether in Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala, or Nepal, each team is assigned a village where we have a church or partnership with a pastor. Each team serves as a catalyst for the ongoing ministry in that area as a means to meet physical needs but also as a platform to share the gospel.

Children’s Homes

Teams serving at our children’s homes minister through fun activities such as sports, cooking, crafts, and more. Children in our care receive the basic necessities of life plus medical care, counseling, and education while also learning life skills. Most of all, we teach them about love and salvation through Jesus Christ.

Youth Camp

The goal of Youth Camp is to be a catalyst to form and grow youth ministries in our churches. Team captains will recruit a team primarily to lead camp at the Bible Institute for youth from our local churches. Team members will assist with preaching, leading small groups, leading breakout sessions, planning games and activities, and overall interacting with campers.

Pastoral Training

From the beginning, we recognized the need to provide national pastors and church leaders with quality theological education and practical church leadership experience. These institutes challenge men and women to grow in their knowledge of Christ and church development.

Project Life

Project Life is an extension of our Teams Ministry. As short-term team members encounter patients who require more intense and specialized medical treatment than the village clinics can offer, the patients are referred to the Project Life program. This program works to make the procedures possible by providing the means for necessary treatment. Project Life cases have included treatments such as open-heart surgery, cleft palate surgery, and burn treatment.

Experience Teams Ministry

One Week. Eternal Impact.

This short-term mission trip to Nicaragua brought 22 people together to partner with a local church and share the love of Christ through medical clinics, door-to-door evangelism, and time spent with young girls at the Emmanuel Home of Protection. From sharing food and the gospel to building relationships through crafts and games, this trip left a lasting impact on the team and the community. Watch how God moved in powerful and personal ways!
