Eliel Coto

Eliel and his wife, Gaby, have a 21-month-old son, James. Eliel graduated from Thomas Herrington Baptist Bible Institute and serves as pastor of Sublime Grace Baptist Church in Barrio San José, Teupasenti, Honduras.

Four years ago, God put in Eliel’s heart to plant a church in this community. Since then, God has continued to strengthen his passion for church planting through evangelism and discipleship. Eliel and Gaby’s ministry focuses on equipping the local church to share the Gospel and supporting pastors, church leaders, and their families.

Having served as a pastor for more than 10 years, Eliel understands firsthand the challenges that can arise in ministry and how those struggles can affect both a pastor’s effectiveness and family. In recent years, he and Gaby have intentionally come alongside pastors and their families to provide support, encouragement, and care.

Their prayer is to continue sharing the Gospel, making disciples, and seeing local churches grow stronger in their faith in Christ.
