Commissioned International is a non-profit that exists under the Lordship of Jesus Christ to EVANGELIZE the lost, DISCIPLE the saved, and MINISTER to the needs of the poor.
Our Story
Prior to BMDMI’s establishment, Charlie and Carolyn Harrington, the founders of BMDMI, arrived in Honduras in 1968 and served for six years working in evangelism and church development. The Lord richly blessed their early ministry efforts evidenced by the six churches planted during that time.

Commissioned International, formerly BMDMI, exists under the Lordship of Jesus Christ to evangelize the lost, disciple the saved, and minister to the needs of the poor. In 2024, we celebrated our 50th anniversary, and this year, we are starting a new chapter as Commissioned International.
