Dear Friends,
Esther 4:14 asks a question every believer eventually has to answer:
“Who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
This week, Nepal entered such a time.
On Wednesday morning, a wall of water tore through Rasuwa and the districts downstream — a once-in-a-century catastrophe. Hundreds are confirmed dead, and more than a thousand people are still missing. Homes, markets, roads, and bridges are simply gone. Families who had homes, work, and belongings on Tuesday have nothing today but each other.
Here’s what we know from years of on-the-ground ministry: in moments like this, people are open to spiritual conversations in ways they never have been before.
Our plan of action
Relief Supplies
Commissioned International is immediately mobilizing relief supplies — water filters, food, bedding, and hygiene kits — into the hardest-hit communities, using relationships we already have in this region.

Relief Supplies

Supplies for one family for a month — rice, cooking oil, cooking utensils, salt, bedding, and mosquito nets.
Family Medical Kit
$100
A critical medical kit — fever and pain medication, IV bags, vitamins, antibiotic ointment, and bandages. Reports from the field say they are already running out of medicine.
Clean Water
$250
Clean water for five families through SAWYER filtration systems. Every local water source is now contaminated — and it is a tangible way for families to hear of the Living Water.
Go and serve
Relief Team
Alongside immediate supplies, we are mobilizing a team to be on the front lines of this response — distributing relief supplies, ministering to people, and working alongside a Commissioned International local pastor. Here is what we know today:
- Dates: Arrive in Kathmandu by September 16. Depart Kathmandu September 23.
- Cost: Airfare plus a $2,250 team fee.
