Dear Friends,

It’s encouraging to step back and see how God continues to work through Commissioned International. What began as a calling has grown into an ongoing ministry across multiple countries, continuing day by day through local churches, ministry leaders, and partners like you.

Our focus remains the same: to share the Gospel, disciple believers, and care for those in need. That work is happening every day through the people on the ground.

Leadership Development

We are seeing steady progress in training and equipping leaders. In Nicaragua, Pastor Santos has recently stepped into the role of Director of the Bible Institute. His leadership strengthens an already important foundation for long-term discipleship. At the same time, three modular training programs are now active, making pastoral training more accessible in different regions. Plans are also underway to expand training through the Dwight Carr Bible Institute.

In Honduras, the Thomas Herrington Bible Institute continues to serve as a key training center. Students are currently engaged in a three-year program that prepares them for long-term ministry. In addition to the residential program, modular training sites are reaching pastors and leaders in remote areas.

In Asia, pastors and church leaders continue to be trained in some of the most difficult environments. Many face ongoing pressure and persecution yet remain committed to sharing the Gospel and leading their communities.

This year’s team season is off to a strong start. One of the most important aspects of this work is that teams come alongside what God is already doing locally.

So far this year:

We have already seen hundreds of professions of faith and thousands of individuals receive medical care. It’s been a meaningful start to the year.

Growth and New Opportunities

The Philbrick family will be moving to serve full-time at Good Shepherd’s Children’s Home at the end of May. Their presence will bring added stability and leadership to the ministry there.

In addition, several other families and couples have begun exploring missionary service. This is encouraging, but it also highlights the ongoing need for more people to serve.

As Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” — Matthew 9:37–38 (NIV)

Thank You

None of this happens without faithful partners. Your prayers, generosity, and continued support are making a real difference in the lives of individuals, in local churches, and in communities across the world.

We are grateful for you.

Prayer Requests

As we look ahead, we do so with expectation, trusting God to continue opening doors and changing lives.

Till the Nations Worship,
Timmy Ruhnke
