Equip Pastors
Equipping saints to complete the Great Commission.
And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.
-Ephesians 4:11-12 (ESV)
The local church is the hope of the world. God’s calling and our mission is clear – to equip the saints for the completion of the great commission. Our aim is to equip pastors with the theological foundation and the practical skills for church planting, discipleship, and shepherding a local church.

The Method
Bible Institutes
We currently operate the Dwight Carr Bible Institute in Nicaragua, the Thomas Herrington Bible Institute in Honduras, pastoral training in Guatemala, and Leadership Training courses in Nepal. We provide two different pathways to pastoral training. At the THBI, we provide a three-year full-time program. We also provide a satellite/modular program in various regions of central America and Nepal. These institutes challenge men and women to grow in their knowledge of Christ and church development. Students are strengthened in Bible teachings, theological doctrines, church history, and administration as well as evangelism methods for leading others to Christ.

Encouragement for Local Churches
Bible Institutes
For over 25 years, the heartbeat of Dwight Carr Bible Institute in Nicaragua has been to equip men and women with the theological and practical tools needed for ministry. Under the leadership of Director Omar Barqero, our mission is to train pastors and church leaders in Nicaragua. Through conferences, satellite programs, and long-term training at our campus in Diriamba, we are committed to strengthening local churches and advancing God’s Kingdom around the world.
